Horse Knowledge For All
Horse Knowledge For All
We all love our horses, and we all want what is best for them.
But money doesn’t grow on trees and horses are expensive.
Not all horse people were born with a silver spoon in their mouths. Some of us keep their horses through sacrifice, budgeting, blood, sweat and tears. It doesn’t make us any less of a horse owner but it does mean that we have to become masters is balancing equine welfare and our finances.
Making Equestrian Sport More Accessible Through Education
Confidence and mindset goes a long way in all sports, and equestrian sports are no different. Equestrian sports have historically been tied to money and status, and often inaccessible to “ordinary” people. Horses will never be cheap, but we can help you understand the language, the skills, the pathways, the safety basics, the equipment, and the traditions, so you don’t waste money feeling lost, embarrassed, or shut out.
Our aim is simple: to give working-class and low-income riders, learners, parents, and horse lovers the confidence and knowledge to step into the horse world and chase their goals.
We’ll always be your cheerleaders.
Equine Education Doesn’t Need to be Expensive
Proper riding lessons are expensive, and there are good reasons for that. Horses cost money. Insurance, vets, farriers, feed, bedding, staff, training, land, equipment, repairs, transport, and general maintenance all add up. Nobody can realistically offer endless free riding lessons unless they are either a very generous friend or dangerously bad at maths.
But horse-based education is bigger than riding lessons.
There is no reason why good-quality equine knowledge should be locked behind high prices, private yards, expensive memberships, or a lifetime of already being “in” the horse world.
And that is why the digital resources on this website are free. They are free for you to use, to share.
You can even use them in educational settings.
